About Christopher L. Miller

I am an attorney admitted to the bars of South Carolina, New York, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and the United States Tax Court. My practice focuses on estate planning and taxation, estate administration, fiduciary representation, contested probate, contested trust and estate accountings, charitable giving including the use of charitable trusts, Medicaid planning, family law, residential real estate transactions, business formation, trademarks and copyrights.

I am a graduate of Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, in Central Islip, New York. I was a Merit Scholar, faculty fellow, and interned with the Center’s Business and Technology Clinic, graduated magna cum laude and received Awards for Academic Excellence in Contracts, Business Organizations, Evidence, and Pretrial Litigation.

I graduated from Stony Brook University in 1999, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa - the oldest undergraduate honors society in the United States. I also earned a Master of Science degree in Experimental Pathology from New York Medical College’s School of Basic Medical Sciences, writing a masters paper on the potential role of bacterial infections in cardiovascular disease.

Some other things about me: I live in Greenville, S.C., with my wife Jaime and son Christopher. I enjoy giving my time to several philantropical organizations in the Greenville area. When not practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking in a ball game at Fluor Field, working on my golf game (such as it is) and playing ice hockey at the Greenville Pavillion.
